MAY

Heavy cloths are put away,
the sun has come this bright May day.
Nature such a splendid thing,
brings the birds to chirp and sing.
Blossom fades, a tiny breeze,
scented lilac fills the trees.
Bees awake from Winter's sleep,
yellow flowers smile and peep.
Soft white clouds are floating by,
April showers wave good-bye.
Drinks are poured to blur the mind,
thoughts then turn to summer time.
