Those distant sirens in the far distance
Drumming a beat of the human heart
I feel the beats grow stronger in my head
Moments of peace, are far and between.
To fear death is wrong
For we all must die one day
Surely as we must all love
Look within your soul, for the answer lies there.
Those moments of peace, gather together,
like a stream that pours forth like a waterfall
Peace, give me those so precious few moments
And in return I will show love.
The final apology of the heart is not known
But know one thing
Love survives.
