PREACHERS

I listened to preachers of different religions.
They all told me
More or less the same thing about
Happiness,
Honesty,
Equality,
High morality in a society,
Living in peace
And knowing yourself.
The golden rule must be the philosophy of every religion.
So I invited all those preachers to my house for dinner.
Musicians were playing,
Dancing girls were dancing,
And we were having our dinner.
Everything looked so wonderful.
My house turned out to be a little heaven on earth.
Suddenly, the preachers started quarrelling with each other.
Their words became more dangerous than nuclear weapons.
They all made the same bloody mistake
And broke the golden rule.
Great preachers must be great pretenders.
They all speak as it suits them.
They all act as it suits them.
